Convention Registration Policies

REGISTRATION AND CANCELATION POLICY
Registrations may be canceled on or before a date 15 days prior to the first day of the in-person convention, and the amount paid minus a $90 administrative fee will be refunded. Due to the administrative and financial costs AECT incurs beyond this point, no refund is available for cancelations within 15 days of the start of the in-person convention for any reason. All cancelations and refund requests must be sent to the AECT office via the
cancelation form. AECT is not responsible for event cancelations necessitated by weather conditions, transportation issues, emergencies (medical/professional/personal), illness, or other problems beyond the association's control. 

MEMBERSHIP POLICY

If you register at the student rate, you must be a current student in fall 2025. Proof may be requested when you check-in. If you will complete your studies in spring or summer 2025, please contact us to update your member account.

Your membership must be in good standing at the time of the convention. If it has lapsed or expired, you will need to renew before you check-in for the convention.
