Summer Research Symposium Registration

Once again the Summer Research Symposium will return as an in person event, July 13-14, 2022 being at the Indiana University Student Union / Biddle Hotel, Bloomington, Indiana. The resulting articles selected will be included in the journal, Journal of Formative Design in Learning. The symposium will again be conducted with World Café model having break out sessions for in-depth discussions on each submitted paper.

2021 AECT Proceedings is Now Online

The 2021 AECT Proceedings for the AECT Chicago Convention, 'Homecoming (Homestaying): A Return to Learning through Innovation' is now available. The Proceedings of AECT's Convention are published in two volumes. Volume #1 contains 26 papers dealing primarily with research and development topics. AECT and NATO-ACT partnership continues to deepen

AECT President Xun Ge addressed a session of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization-Allied Command Transformation Training Technology Conference that was held September 14-16 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The event was a hybrid conference attended by 485 NATO members and affiliates, 425 online and 60 in-person.

Increased Impact Factor for ETR&D

The Educational Technology Research and Development's (ETR&D) 2019 impact factor increased to 2.303 (2019) from 2.115 (2018). ETR&D’s five year impact factor increased to 2.752 (2019) from 2.672 (2018). ETR&D is one of the top Q1 and SSCI journals. On behalf of AECT and Springer Nature, we congratulate all who contribute to the journal on this positive development.
