The Proceedings of AECT's Convention are published in two volumes. Volume #1 contains 33 papers dealing primarily with research and development topics. Papers dealing with instruction and training issues are contained in volume #2 which contains 23 papers.

In association with the Teacher Education Division, AECT is excited to announce that the first issue of the Journal of Technology-Integrated Lessons and Teaching (JTILT) is now available. JTILT is a brand new openly licensed AECT journal that publishes openly licensed, peer-reviewed technology-integrated lesson plans for teachers and teacher educators

The 2022 AECT International Convention at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas was amazing! We had a total of 931 registrants, 691 in-person and 240 virtual. This is the biggest attendance we’ve had in several years. Thanks to all for attending the convention, however you did! All sessions were recorded and are available to be viewed until December 31.

The Educational Technology Research and Development's (ETR&D) 2019 impact factor increased to 2.303 (2019) from 2.115 (2018). ETR&D’s five year impact factor increased to 2.752 (2019) from 2.672 (2018). ETR&D is one of the top Q1 and SSCI journals. On behalf of AECT and Springer Nature, we congratulate all who contribute to the journal on this positive development.

The Association for Educational Communications and Technology announced that Dr. Ellen Wagner has accepted the position of Interim Executive Director of the organization.
