FREE ESTATE PLANNING
FREE ESTATE PLANNING LECTURE FOR AECT MEMBERS
NOTE: The Date Has Changed for This Event
On February 6, 2021, Attorneys Leonard and Mary Ann DuBoff of the DuBoff Law Group PC will offer a free lecture on estate planning.
The virtual lecture will be based on the book titled Estate Planning (in Plain English)® authored by Leonard and another attorney from the DuBoff Law Group. The book is available from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other locations where books are available.
The lecture will cover wills, trusts, Powers of Attorney, advanced directives, planned giving, and the other documents you should consider for a proper estate plan. It will also discuss what happens if you do not have a proper estate plan. The lecturers will provide recommendations on how to reduce your estate's tax liability, both state and federal.
Both Leonard and Mary Ann have lectured for AECT before and their style is to interact with the audience. For this reason, you should be prepared to ask questions.
The lecturers will also discuss charitable giving and the process for properly handling an estate. Finally, the lecturers will identify many of the things you should consider writing down as soon as possible for those who survive you and your significant other.
Look for registration information later this month.
