Korean Society for Educational Technology 's Description
Founded in 1985, the Korean Society for Educational Technology (KSET) is a professional association helping educational technology scholars and practitioners improve teaching and learning by creating an effective learning environment. As an affiliate of the Association for Educational Communication and Technology (AECT), KSET has more than 1,000 members who are researchers, developers, and practitioners in academia, corporations, and government organizations. There are 6 special interest groups (SIGs) in KSET: Theories and Models; Design and Development; Implementation and Management; Evaluation and Quality Assurance; Research Methodology; e-Learning; and Human Resources Development. Also, KSET has organized annually an international conference on critical issues in the field of educational technology.
